Collaboration with Scott LeGere for the exhibition, Art-Inspired Music & Music-Inspired Art Project 3rd Edition, at McNally-Smith College of Music.
The exhibition, Curated by Billy Franklin and Elizabeth Black, paired visual artists with musicians to create artwork collaboratively. Scott LeGere wrote and preformed a composition inspired by my Transition Series of paintings, and I made a new painting inspired by his music. With the help of photographer, Mohamud Mumin, we filmed the generation of the painting, and set the video to Scott’s musical score.
